he law also states that before a club or business like this can be dissolved 3 announcements must be placed in the local newspapers and these announcements should be lodged in the Public Register Office

              "I Totally Agree"

Hi Winston, thanks for your attention. The miniature Golf War rages on. Another chapter has been written by the same cast of characters at this link, First Lawsuit Defending the Amazon Golf Course, Iquitos Peru

where you will find another 381 comments filled with equal passion, but saying a lot of the same things as before. Let me know when you finish chapter 3, if you have the stamina, I will give you the link to chapter four. Join us.

Best, Bill

Hello Bill, Shawn, Marc, Alan and others.

I'm a total stranger but have been gradually following this soap opera. It is an amazing story, documentary, comedy, tragedy and always drama played out with passionate esprit!

Did this thing really fizzle out around November of last year or did it move? Someday I want to find this golf course and the pool and houses and stop some lucky resident to ask, did you ever hear the story about How the Amazon Golf Club was Won?!

Disclaimer: I've done dope and will probably do it again. I also like sports and skiing and getting naturally high by coming down a slope. I don't like Bush and don't think he has done a good job. I don't think it is a good idea to steal but believe he who is without sin should cast the first stone. I find the story about Alan losing his mother and being in jail to be profoundly moving and think that whoever took the sucker punch at him should send him chocolates. I wonder about the sanity of the investment but totally understand the perspective of the non-golfers who wish for some justice for their investment.

I think that Canadian Shawn is extremely colorful but life is too short to get sick with anger. He who lives by the sword dies by the sword and I find it is always therapeutic to breathe.

I hope this cast of characters decides to enact a sequel. It has been such a drag since Shakespeare stopped writing!

Hello Mike,

Long time no blog. I am a bit confused and lost here. I have three 'Dawn of the Amazon blog' windows open; one window has comments up to March of 2007, and then a comment from you in January of 2008. Another window has comments up to about November 2007. Yet another window that the blog has twice recommended that we all go to is a new feed website that only had 10 comments. And I can't figure out a way to put another comment, unless I go back to the previous blog.

Where can I read the comments from November 2007. Up until now? I'm very interested to know how the court case came out.
